 This is the Gif that i was going to use for my front walk cycle but in the end i didn't have time to complete it.

Trial and Error

I found it difficult to animate the cowboy GIF initially but once I understood Flash more I found it quite easy.

keyframes

The GIF has 20 keyframes 

When actually animating the cowboy it wasn't necessary to have 20 keyframes, it might be only necessary to keyframe every second frame or slightly a bit more then that.

This is the cowboy GIF that i used to practice walk cycles in Flash
